A driver and a dog have died following a single vehicle collision on the A470 on Saturday evening.
The single vehicle collision involved an Audi A5 and occurred between Llyswen and Llansteffan in Powys at around 7.30pm on Saturday, 3 October.
A spokesperson for Dyfed-Powys Police said: "Police received a report of a single vehicle collision involving an Audi A5 that was on fire and a parked Peugeot 2008, that also caught fire.
"Sadly, the driver of the Audi A5 was pronounced deceased at the scene, along with a dog present in the backseat. "Their next of kin have been informed.
"The Peugeot was unoccupied.
"The road was closed for collision investigation to take place and reopened at around 5pm on Sunday, 4 October."
