FIREFIGHTERS worked all day and night to tackle a blaze in Aberdyfi over the weekend.

Emergency services were called to a building fire near Aberdyfi at 12.40pm on Friday, 16 February.

Several appliances attended the scene from both North and Mid Wales Fire and Rescue Service.

The building, which is separated into flats, was well alight on the arrival of firefighters who spent nearly 12 hours tackling the fire which affected the roof of the building.

The fire was eventually extinguished at 12.11am on Saturday morning.

The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.
