POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a number of items including catalytic converters were reported missing from an industrial estate.

Police say the items are thought to have been taken between 24 and 26 April from a unit on the Griffin Estate.

The items taken include catalytic converters and car batteries.

A spokesperson for the police said: “We’re appealing for witnesses after a theft occurred sometime between 6pm on Saturday, 24 and 6.30am on Monday, 26 April in a unit on the Griffin Industrial Estate in Penrhyndeudraeth.

“Access was gained. Catalytic converters, car batteries and various tools were stolen and vehicles damaged.
