How very fitting that the aircraft The Maid of Harlech has been given protected Status.

This is a natural epitaph for a plane lost at sea in World War Two. The sands of time will take her eventually, but not until she has had her day. This is also testimony to the role America played in the War, our solid ally.

We all look in awe when she gives us a glimpse of her, passing tides don’t bother her, She is here for many years yet.
