AN ABERYSTWYTH photography festival is urging people to get involved, after opening registration for the 2016 photomarathon.
The 2016 Photomarathon from FfotoAber will take place on 22 October at the Morlan Centre with organisers saying they are expecting the event to continue to grow.
The competition, which is held in partnership with Aberystwyth Business Club, will see participants challenged to take six photos on six different themes inside six hours.
Deian Creunant, of FfotoAber, said: “FfotoAber is growing in popularity year on year, highlighting the accessibility of photography and the significant interest in this art form.

“Feedback is consistently very positive and it’s great to see people returning each year in a bid to win the elusive prize.”
Aberystwyth Business Club chair Eddy Webb said: “One of our aims at Aberystwyth Business Club is to support organisations and help develop ideas that benefit Aberystwyth and its inhabitants."
