A LLYN tanning business is in the running for yet another award next month.

Shoned Owen, Y Ffôr, who owns ‘TANya WHITEbits’ was only crowned New Business of the Year at the beginning of this year, and has now been shortlisted for a Retail Entrepreneur of the Year gong at the Great British Entrepreneur Awards held in November.

Shoned, who works as a sports development officer at Gwynedd Council, has always been a tanning fan, but admits to have never found the product that was right for her.

This led Shoned to decide to set up her own business supplying salons and shops in the Dwyfor and Meirionnydd area with her own professional solution and brand.

The tanning entrepreneur has also been chosen as Business of the Week and Virgin Media’s Pioneer of the Week in the last two years.
