LLANIDLOES Carnival has been hailed a fantastic success this year with a great many participants and the good weather.

The crowds came out all over town to cheer on the procession, which was full of colour and originality, and events took place on the fields of Victoria Park that continued the high spirits and community zest shown by everyone.

Ruby Holmes of the Crown and Anchor said: “I am so impressed by the quality of the carnival this year.

“Everyone who helped should be thanked for their diligence and hard work to produce such a worthy spectacle.”
