A former school in Cilcennin is set to officially reopen as a community hub later this month following a transformation backed by lottery funding.
Cilcennin Cyntaf has converted Yr Hen Ysgol into a community space for the village and surrounding areas, with the official opening taking place on Saturday, 17 October from 4pm.
The project has been carried out with support from lottery funding and is intended to provide a focal point for local residents and community activities.
Helen Vaughlin, chair of Cilcennin Cyntaf, said the group was keen to mark completeion of the work and celebrate the opening with residents.
Further details about the hub and its future activities are expected to be shared at the event, which Cambrian News shall attend.
