Quiz

A BILINGUAL fun quiz on Wales will be held at the yacht club on Friday, 14 February at 7pm.

Entry fee per team is £10, maximum of five members.

This event is organized by the town’s National Eisteddfod Appeal.

Cinema

THE memorial hall will be hosting its next cinema night on Friday, 7 February at 7.30pm, showing the film Green Book – a comedy drama inspired by true friendship in 1960s America.

There is a licensed bar and refreshments will be available.

All are welcome.

Later on in the month, on Saturday, 15 February, there is a one-off event at the hall at 1.30pm, showing the PG film Song of the Sea as well as an animation workshop, organised by WOW Film Festival.

St Padarn, Pennant: No service.

Senior Citizens

ABERAERON Senior Citizens enjoyed a recent informative talk by John and Yvonne Holder about Welsh lovespoons.

There was a good turn out for the annual post Christmas lunch which was very enjoyable.

The next meeting is at 1.30pm on Thursday, 13 February in Peniel Vestry. Rev Wyn Maskell will be talking about his visit to the Holy Land.
