ABERDOVEY Women’s Institute have enjoyed a talk by one of their members after a recent visit to the Royal Garden Party.

Minutes of the WI Meeting held in the Neuadd Dyfi last month have been released.

President Elaine Foote welcomed members and guest, and said how nice it was nice to see Gill Jones back with us after her recent illness.

Members spoke about how they enjoyed the lunch at Portmeirion, how Elaine and Megan went to Barmouth but were not needed and congratulations were given for the best programme and thanks to Margaret Bowron and her husband Keith.

There was a discussion about what cakes etc. were needed for the County Show, who will be attending and the need for car passes.

A speech was then given by Margaret Bowron who showed us DVD on her day at the Royal Garden Party.

The raffle was won by Sheila Lowe.

The date of next meeting will be on 27 September.
