BARMOUTH Town Council would like to thank everyone who supported the events in the run up to Christmas.

At a time of year when the streets can be very quiet it was good to see so many people out to enjoy the Christmas market, Santa Dash and skating rink, they said.

These new events complimented the traditional events that have been held for many years – the late-night shopping evening, children’s parties, Santa grottos, arrival of Father Christmas by paddleboard and carol service.

This wouldn’t be possible without the commitment of many local people and organisations who give their time and money.
