Senior Citizens
MEMBERS were lucky enough to have a lovely day for their coach trip to north Wales.
After a stop for coffee in Betws y Coed, three members were dropped off to explore Bodnant Gardens.
The remaining coach party travelled on to Llandudno for an enjoyable and sunny day.
At their first meeting in July, the committee had prepared a strawberry tea for members, which followed a memory testing quiz prepared by Betty.
One of the group’s long-standing members, Cath Hartland, was wished well for her forthcoming move to Sandbach and Betty thanked all who went to the Borth Station Museum open day, where £400 was raised for the recreation and education programme for refugee children.
The last meeting before the summer break will take place on Thursday, 21 July, when NEST advisors will attend to give advice on energy efficiency.
