AN OCTOBER day was brightened by the speaker Olwen Jones, who gave a demonstration of feltwork - how to make it and how to embellish it.

She had some lovely examples to show us, from Christmas decorations to complicated wall hangings.

At the WI bingo evening on 27 October everyone on the table went home with a raffle prize or winnings.

Next month, a three line whip to members, it is the AGM.
