MERERID Jones from Ceredigion County Council was the guest at the recent meeting and made the topic of recycling waste so interesting, answering all the questions and giving invaluable information on the processes used and what is and is not recyclable.

The annual mystery trip was to Wales Ape and Monkey Sanctuary, Swansea, where they were entertained, especially by one ape who catapulted apple pieces straight into one of the member’s faces (no names mentioned); it was hilarious for all.

They then visited the Penderyn Distillery for a tour of the distillery and of course sampled their award-winning whisky.
