THE latest community news from Llanbedr

Community council

THE town councillors have thanked the pupils of Ysgol Ardudwy for their good work during a day spent at Llanbedr playing field preparing the ground by Plas Newydd in order to sow wild flower seeds.

Councillors also thanked volunteers who endlessly keep the pots by Bryn Deiliog and Capel Moreia in good order throughout the year, enhancing the village.

But unfortunately some keep on ruining their efforts, with glass bottles being left out

Also complaints have been received that some unlawful camping is taking place in the picnic area, Shell Island Road. This has been reported to Cyngor Gwynedd.

Lastly, the community council will be holding three events – an opportunity for all who are interested to see the photo montages of Llanbedr after the development of the proposed access road, as many cannot access them through the link to the national park.

These are courtesy of Snowdonia National Park Authority. A warm welcome to all on 1 August from 3pm to 7pm and 4 August between 10am and 1pm at Llanbedr Village Hall.
