THERE will be an evening of bingo at Capel Mair church hall on Friday, 21 September, as well as a duck race.

FRIDAY, 28 September to 30 September, with many interesting events including ‘twmpath dawns’ and afternoon tea.

Go Tri

GO TRI event at Calon Tysul, is offering aquathlon opportunities for children and triathlon opportunities for adults of all abilities and ages.

The junior events (TriStars) will cover a range of distances depending upon the age category entered.

The event will start at Calon Tysul with a pool swim before heading out into the West Wales countryside for the cycle and run.

The TriStars events will be held on a closed circuit with the adult event taking place on the open road.

Junior TriStars events will be held on Saturday, 22 September, and the adult event on Sunday, 23 September.

There will be access to changing rooms and toilets at the centre.

There will also be refreshments and entertainment available for the whole family, no matter what the weather.

It promises to be a great day out and event for participants and spectators.

Race distances: Aquathlon TriStar Start - 8 years old swim, 50m, run 400m, Aquathlon TriStar 1 - 9-10 years old swim 100m, run 800m, Aquathlon TriStar 2 - 11-12 years old, swim 150m, run 1.2km Aquathlon TriStar 3 - 13-14 years old, swim 200m, run 2km GO TRI Adults - 15+ years old, swim 200m, bike 10km, run 2.5km. Adults team relay - 15+ years old, swim 200m, bike 10km, run 2.5km.

AN evening in aid of Calon Tysul will be held on Wednesday, 12 September.
