THE latest community news from Llanfair Clydogau

Walking group

THE walking group enjoyed a lovely visit to the mansion of Glandenys in Silian.

In order to avoid having to approach Glandenys along the main Tregaron to Lampeter road, members drove and parked near Falcondale Lake and walked from there.

Glandenys owner Rhodri Cayo-Evans was very helpful and informative in talking to the visitors at the property.

The group then returned to Llanfair village hall for refreshments.

THE October meeting featured a session on the theme of Middle Eastern dancing, which was led by Solveig.

The WI also held a popular cawl and whist evening.

Michael Morgans has delivered a training course, open to any member of the community, on how to use the defibrillator in an emergency.
