Concert in the Park
THE Rotary Club presents the 20th annual Concert in the Park, (Servern Porte) on Friday, 13 July.
The award-winning chamber choir Quindici will be supported by the talented youth of Llanidloes.
Starts at 7pm; admission free, with a collection for Rotary’s good causes.
It will be held at St Idloes Church if the weather is too wet.
Art and design
THERE will be an art and design exhibition of the work of Year 11, 12 and 13 students at the Minerva Art Gallery.
There will be a private viewing at the school library from 6pm to 7pm on 5 July, then the work will be displayed at the gallery from 7 to 21 July.
Fancy dress party
THERE will be a fancy dress party at the Old Mill on Friday, 6 July, at 7pm, with a kids fancy dress competition at 5.30pm. Free entry.
Carnival events
ON Monday, 9 July, there will be a street quiz (£5 per team). Meet at 6pm at the community centre door.
There will be a Pyjama Party and Movie Night in the rugby on 6 July at 6pm, screening Coco.

All proceeds go to Heather Pugh’s Canadian Rockies Trek for Marie Curie.
Rugby club
THE AGM will take place at the clubhouse in Smithfield Street on 15 July at 6.30pm.
Llanwnog Choir
THE choir meets every Thursday at Clatter Village Hall at 7.30pm and welcomes new members.

Bingo
BINGO will be held on Wednesday, 11 July at the rugby club in aid of the carnival.
Doors open at 7.30pm, eyes down at 8pm. Entry is 50p entry for adults and includes tea/coffee and a biscuit.
Noah’s Ark Appeal
THE Celt Power Wind Farm Sponsored Walk for the Noah’s Ark Appeal takes place on Sunday, 8 July.
There is a choice of three routes for the trek from Llanidloes to Llandinam.
Walkers are to register at the Gro car park at 8.30am and will get a free bottle of water at the start and another at Clos Ffynnon.
The first walk starts at 9am and covers 12.8 miles. The second sees walkers travel from the Gro to Ashfield Lane by car at 9.30am for a 9.4-mile walk.
The third starts at the windmills and offers fantastic views over the course of its six-mile length.
All walks end at Llandinam Village Hall where there will be a bus to everyone back to Llanidloes Rugby Club.
