NEVER Mind The Bocs, acoustic folk Cajun blues band, play at the Function Room, SY18 6BZ, on Saturday, 14 September at 7.30pm.

Adults £8, students £2, Llanidloes Art and Music Club members free.

Auction of Promises (in conjunction with the Rotary club of Llanidloes)

FRIDAY, 13 September at the rugby club, starts at 7pm, free entry.

Over 40 Lots kindly donated by local businesses and individuals. Includes holidays abroad, a round of golf for four people, meal vouchers, ASUS Laptop, pet portrait, family tree package, tour of the senedd, wine, travel vouchers, vintage port plus many more.

Also on the night a raffle and a hog roast.

As-Sawiya Friendship Association>

COME for a special social evening to celebrate the 10 years friendship link with as-SAWIYA in the Palestinian West Bank on Wednesday, 18 September at Chatwood, Longbridge Street. 5pm start. Food to share.

Try some traditional Middle Eastern Dishes and meet special visitors.

At 7pm there will be a talk by special guest Arafat Abu Ras, human rights activist.

Free event - all welcome.

THERE will be bingo at the rugby club in aid of Severn E-N-Able Group, Newtown, on Wednesday, 18 September.

Doors open 7.30pm, eyes down 8pm.
