Concert and social evening

THERE will be a concert and a coffee/social evening featuring young musicians from Aberystwyth at Llanidloes High School Hall on Friday, 10 February, at 7pm.The event is organised by Llanidloes Music and Arts Club.

Quilter’s Guild area day

THE Quilter’s Guild of the British Isles is holding a Powys Area Day on Saturday, 11 March, from 10.30am to 4pm at the Minerva Arts Centre. The speaker will be Doreen Gough, who will bring her collection of vintage quilts and some new acquisitions.

Rotary Club concert

THE club is proud to present Pendyrus Male Choir.

Formed in 1924, Pendyrus Male Choir has performed at all the major venues throughout the British Isles as well as undertaking extensive tours abroad.

Previously a champion of competition, the choir has over 90 choristers and has toured the world to great acclaim, being the only Welsh male choir to have performed in both the White House and the Kremlin.

The concert will take place in China Street Chapel on Saturday, 18 March. Tickets are now available from any Llanidloes Rotarian or from Woosnam and Davies Newsagents at only £10 per person.

Bingo

THERE will be bingo in aid of the Severn Hospice Shop at the rugby club on Wednesday, 8 March, at 7.30pm.
