Spencer and Hawkey performance
ZOE Spencer and Andrew Hawkey are playing at the Old Mill on Fri-day, 14 April, starting at 8.30pm. An intimate evening of heart felt original songs and hand picked covers with two talented musician.
Gardening Club
THERE will be a Spring Flower Exhibition on Easter Saturday, 15 April, 9.30am till 12.30pm, at the Elephant Inn, Longbridge Street. SONGS to celebrate Easter by the Wesley Singers at Longbridge Street Methodist Church (Wesleyan) Tuesday, 18 April, at 7pm.
The Arwystli Society
ON 19 April, at 7.30pm, the Arwystli Society will hold its AGM in St Idloes Church Hall followed by “The importance of being Arwystli,” a lecture by Dr David Stephen-son.
Brew For The Few success
THE Llanidloes Branch of the RAFA wishes to thank all those who sup-ported their recent coffee morning. The event raised £303. Special thanks went to Mr and Mrs Gareth Roberts for allowing the Branch to use their premises, the Royal head, Llanidloes.
Charity coffee morning
IRENE and Daniel’s coffee morning takes place at the Elephant, Long-bridge Street, on Saturday, 22 April, at 10.30am till 12.30pm. A charity event in aid of Tenovus, Lingendavies Cancer, Llanidloes Relief in Need. A special appearance of the Llanidloes Tenovus Choir at 11am.

HOLY week: Thursday, 13 April, at 7.30pm, Maundy Service, celebration of the Lord’s Supper, at St Idloes Parish Church. Then Good Friday, 14 April, 10am at Minerva Centre, Walk of Witness through the town, followed by 10.30am service in Longbridge Street.
Tadpoles

Defibrillator demonstration
THE ROTARY Club of Llanidloes and Woosnam and Davies Newsagents are providing a free walk-in defibrillator awareness session at Chatwood, Longbridge Street between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Saturday, 20 May. Should the occasion present itself you can learn to save a life with this equipment, now available.
Catholic Easter Sunday Mass
THERE will be Mass for Easter Sunday at 11am in Llanidloes at The Church of Our Lady and St Richard Gwyn, Penygreen Road.
