Mach Maethlon

THE project Pathways to Farming/Llywbrau Ffermio is working towards building a stronger local food economy.

Following the success of the launch event in Caffi Alys on 22 October, which was attended by growers, businesses and local organisations, they are looking to form a steering group.

The steering group will look at how to strengthen markets for local food.

A specific idea being posed is to set up a Food Hub to allow producers to sell through one platform.

It is hoped that the steering group will be made of growers, farmers, restaurants, chefs and shops.

The group will meet bimonthly in Machynlleth. Get in touch to get involved: [email protected]
