Mach Maethlon

MACH Maethlon’s well-received series of free cooking/baking events continued at Clwb Bowlio Machynlleth on 16 November when, following the last sourdough workshop with Rick from Mair’s Bakehouse, Rick was on hand once again to show the enthusiastic bakers how to prepare wheat sourdough.

The group has been successful in obtaining 80 per cent of funding for an exciting new project.

Pathways to Farming aims to mentor new food growers to become commercial food producers, thus supporting our local food security and local economy.

This three-year project would result in there being more local food customers, more local food producers and a more sustainable food landscape in the Dyfi Valley.

In order to make this project a reality we still need to raise 20 per cent of the funds required. If you are interested in financially supporting this project, please get in touch ([email protected]).

Mach Maethlon are also looking for new energy on the directors’ team to help get this new project off the ground.
