New Quay Camera Club

Last Thursday’s meeting in the Memorial Hall took the form of a discussion evening when members were encouraged to discuss problems and concerns they have with equipment, or images, resulting in a very informative evening, and an impromptu tutorial, in the use of Affinity post processing software, by Mike Jones.

The next meeting in the memorial hall on Thursday, 17 January at 7.30pm will be an internal ‘Monochrome’ competition of prints and dpis, on the theme of ‘Black and White’, to be judged by Aled Davies.

New members are always made very welcome.

New Year’s Day swim

The New Quay Cancer Research UK fund-raising committee have extended the warmest congratulations and thanks to the organisers, participants and spectators of this hugely popular annual event, which raised the colossal sum of £1,071.68.
