Car Boot Sale

THERE will be a car boot sale on 19 August. Proceeds to the upkeep of the community centre. They will need plenty of bric-a-brac, books, DVDs, etc. so let them know if you have anything to donate (contact details on the website www.cymunedpennantcommunity.org.uk).

Apart from that, all the usual things are still going on in the village - the film and supper evenings remain popular but they need help with the cooking both preparing and washing up - it tends to fall to the same few so do step forward if you have time - (maybe you have a signature dish you would like to share?) even once a year would help - training provided!

On another note, they are really pleased to be hosting their second wedding reception in the community centre this weekend.

They would like to congratulate Josie and Roy and offer them good wishes for the future.
