Sunday, 5 November: 8.45am, Said Eucharist at St Mary’s Church – Holy Eucharist.

All services will be held at St Mary’s Church at Strata Florida from now on, due to the closure of St David’s Church.

Coed y Bont

JUST a reminder that the Fungi Foray event that was postponed because of Storm Brian will now take place at Coed y Bont on Sunday afternoon, 5 November, starting at 2pm.

During a stroll through the ancient woodland in the company of expert Penny David we will discover the weird and wonderful fungi that grow in Coed y Bont.

The paths may be muddy and wet in places so make sure you wear suitable footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather.

Meet at the woodland car park. In case of uncertainties about the event due to more bad weather contact 01974 299166 before noon.

Looking ahead to next month’s Coed y Bont event will be an update on the Mid Wales Red Squirrel project in the village library on 13 November at 7.30pm.
