Clwb Cerdded/Walking Club

THE next walk is scheduled for 26 December entitled ‘Discover the Turkey Trek’ and has been arranged by Dafydd Wyn Morgan 07748 675798.

This is one of the club’s annual walks that brings people of all ages together for a festive footpath foray during the Christmas period.

This was the club’s first walk back in 2003 that attracted 90 walkers on that cold day.

Make the most of the opportunity to meet new and old friends whilst taking in the great views the walk affords.

The faithful toy turkey Terwyn will join too, the last turkey to be sold by Woolworths in December 2008.

A warm welcome awaits you on your return to Y Talbot.

The walk is to last approximately three hours and is graded a moderate walk over a distance of five miles, with an ascent of 1,240ft/380m.

Meet at Y Talbot at 10.30am.

Bowling club

ON Saturday, 14 December, there will be a whist drive at the club which will start at 8pm; a warm welcome awaits all.
