RWFCA meeting
REMEMBRANCE Day was a great success in both Machynlleth and Tywyn with over 100 people attending the respective cenotaphs.
Christmas lunch on Saturday, 17 December at Tyn y Cornel Hotel, Tywyn was reconfirmed, even though its management has changed. The raffle there will include a turkey.
It was proposed and passed that all attending meetings should bring an inexpensive prize for raffling and that subs for 2017 would be raised to £15, in order that the association might raise its finance to subsidise bus trips, such as that to the National Arboretum.
It was also passed that the welfare officer Eirian Owen Jenkins should be allowed a small budget to enable her to satisfy needs to convey concerns to any member falling ill.
The fun day at Capel Bangor was discussed, with Jen Taylor heading it up for the spring.
The president was tasked with finding out about the possibility of a visit by the ACF to the Blaenau Ffestiniog RWF Museum. The rumour being that the branch may close.
