We are urging readers of the Cambrian News to become volunteers for the Powys Befriending Service. Could you spare a couple of hours each week to put a smile on someone’s face through sharing your friendship?

Powys Befriending Service is looking for volunteers to visit older people in their homes to reduce loneliness, to talk on the phone or to take someone out for a cuppa on a weekly basis, therefore improving their lives.

We are also looking for volunteer drivers to drive people to social groups.

All volunteers will be fully supported and trained.
