A Beulah man who sent a woman “unwanted and repeated messages and voicemails” has been handed a community order for harassment.
Aled Nicholas, of Bronest, appeared for sentencing before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 14 October.
The 49-year-old pleaded guilty at an earlier hearing to a charge of harassment without violence by sending “unwanted and repeated messages and voicemails” to a woman in Rhydlewis over a three month period between 1 March and 9 June this year.
Magistrates handed Nicholas a 12 month community order to include 150 hours of unpaid work and made him the subject of a restraining order.
He must also pay £85 costs and a £114 victim fund surcharge.
