A CANDIDATE in the upcoming Ceredigion County Council election will appear in court accused of harassing a fellow candidate.

Mark Robert Bolderston, aged 54, of 15 Cambrian Square, Llanbadarn Road, is charged with harassment of Mark Strong on 4 October and 30 November. He is due to appear in court today.

Bolderston is standing as an independent councillor in the Aberystwyth Central ward, while Mr Strong will compete for the Aberystwyth North seat which he has represented since 2012.
