A Penparcau woman who breached a community order imposed for assault has been fined and ordered to undergo mental health treatment.

Sara Wilde, of 30 Gwelafon, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 23 September.

The 39-year-old admitted a charge of breaching a community order made by Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 18 December last year for assaulting a woman in Machynlleth last March.

Wilde admitted missing two unpaid work sessions and two probation appointments in August and September.

The original order was revoked and instead Wilde was fined £120 by magistrates and handed a new community order to include 12 months of mental health treatment and up to 10 days of rehabilitation activities.

No order was made for costs.
