A WORKER on Aberystwyth Pier is to stand trial accused of sexually assaulting a woman.

Bartosz Miklaszewski, 38, appeared before Judge Geraint Walters at Swansea Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing.

Miklaszewski, who worked in the amusement arcade but is now living at Cavendish House, Ellesmere Road, Eccles, Manchester, denied sexually assaulting the woman last year.

The court heard she alleged that Miklaszewski had put his hand up her skirt and touched her inner thigh.

Miklaszewski was granted bail until a three-day trial starting on Monday, 7 August.
