A Lampeter man will stand trial later this year after appearing in court to deny a charge of drug driving.

Shane Griffiths, of 41 Bryn yr Eglwys, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 18 August.

The 21-year-old pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving on Dolgwili Road in Carmarthen with cannabis in his system on 4 May this year.

Griffiths is due to stand trial on the charge at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 5 November.

He was remanded on unconditional bail until that date.
