A Llanbadarn Fawr man has been fined by magistrates after being caught driving while using a mobile phone.
Llanelli Magistrates’ Court heard on 8 April that Philip Reginald Colwill, of 3 Brynrheidol, was caught using a mobile while driving a Vauxhall Vivaro on Heol y Bont in Aberystwyth on 9 September last year.
Magistrates fined the 50-year-old £100 and endorsed his driving licence with six penalty points.
He must also pay a surcharge to fund victim services of £100.
