A Pencader man has appeared in court charged with raping a woman in Llanrhystud.

Dominic Dalton, of 90 Maescader, appeared before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 30 April.
The 29-year-old is charged with raping a woman in Llanrhystud on 25 February this year.
No plea was entered to the charge at the hearing.
Dalton is next due to appear before Swansea Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on 30 May.
He was remanded on conditional bail until that date.
