A Penparcau man will stand trial next year after pleading not guilty to a careless driving charge.

Martin Haynes, of Brynog, Heol Tyn y Fron, appeared before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on 4 November.

The 25-year-old pleaded not guilty to driving without due care and attention on the A485 at Lledrod on 10 June this year.

Haynes is due to stand trial on the charge at Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 11 February.

He was remanded on unconditional bail until that date.
