A Penparcau woman has been found not guilty of an assault charge following a trial.

Beverley Jones, of 13 First Avenue, appeared for trial before Aberystwyth Magistrates’ Court on 27 August.

The 41-year-old pleaded not guilty at an earlier hearing in June to assaulting a woman in Penparcau on 4 May this year.

She was found not guilty by magistrates following the trial and the case was dismissed.
