Three men will appear in court next month charged with a series of offences after a car was driven on the pavement of Aberystwyth promenade last year.
Dyfed-Powys Police said this afternoon (Monday) that three men from the Midlands will appear in Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on 17 June, charged with various offences following the incident which occurred in the early hours of Saturday, 5 October 2019.
A police spokesperson said: “Dyfed-Powys Police can confirm that following an incident which occurred on Marine Terrace, Aberystwyth, on 5 October 2019 where a vehicle was seen being driven along the pavement, three people have been summoned to court for a total of nine offences.
The police said a 24-year-old male from Solihull has been accused of alleged assault, Section 4 Public Order offence and possession of cannabis; a 33-year-old male from Birmingham has been charged with assault; ad a 29-year-old male from Birmingham has been accused of three charges of assault, alleged criminal damage to a police cell and also accused of a failure to provide a specimen of breath for analysis.
They will appear at Aberystwyth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, 17 June, police said.
