A MUM has helped raise £1,000 for her son who has cerebral palsy and in memory of a second child, by completing the Anglesey Half-Marathon.
Bethan Morgan and her cousin Claire Banks of Nefyn faced heavy rain and cold to complete the half-marathon in two hours, 40 minutes, and two hours, 45 minutes respectively.
Bethan’s son, Cai, was diagnosed with the condition at just two years old. The cousins are also fund-raising towards Elusennau Efan, a charity started by Bethan and Bleddyn Evans, also of Nefyn, in memory of their son Efan.
Bethan said: “We would like to thank everyone who donated, and to those who supported us on the day, in the pouring rain!”
