A CRASHED van stranded in a field near Llanarth for around two months could have caused another accident, a local resident has said.
The van, which crashed into a field near Castell farm in October, was still visible from the road last week, causing passing drivers to slow down to look at it, it was claimed. The van was also daubed in graffiti.
Charles Midgely, who lives 50 yards away from the crash site on the Cei Bach road at the crossroads at Pencroes Castell, said at the time that he was worried “it will soon cause another accident”.
“It is a distraction. I continually see people looking as they pass,” Mr Midgely said.
“Now that there is graffiti on the back, drivers are distracted for longer.”
