Tributes have been paid to a 31-year-old Llanarth man killed in a single-vehicle accident involving a blue Ford Ranger on the A486 at Ffostrasol on Wednesday night.

Llyr Evans died in the crash near Ffostrasol FC at around 10pm as his car was travelling from the direction of Synod Inn.

Dyfed-Powys Police are appealing for information.

In a statement, Mr Evans’ family said: “We as a family are devastated to confirm the loss of our beloved son, brother and uncle, Llyr Evans.

“We’d like to thank you for all the messages and support we have received and kindly ask for privacy to grieve at this difficult time."

A Dyfed-Powys Police spokesperson confirmed that nobody else was involved in the collision.

“HM Coroner has been informed,” she added
