DID your dress form part of a new life in a pastoral paradise far away from mad city life?

Was it your romantic wedding dress typifying this perfect wonderful occasion, or was it just the right outfit for languishing in idyllic settings during lazy summer days?

Ceredigion Museum’s winter exhibition will tell the story of the Welsh fashion designer Laura Ashley, whose dreamy fashion typified the back to nature movement of the 1970s.

The exhibition, Laura Ashley: The Ultimate Cottage Industry, Paris - London - Llanidloes, will illustrate, through her designs, how the world became hooked.

Ceredigion Museum need your personal stories, the people who bought and wore Laura Ashley fashions to form an integral part of the exhibition.

If you feel that you’d like to take part, contact Andrea DeRome, [email protected], or callthe museum on 01970 633088.

Laura Ashley: The Ultimate Cottage Industry, Paris – London – Llanidloes runs from Monday, 30 October to Saturday, 6 January.
