TWO farmers from the Dyfi Valley, who have travelled across the globe are to feature in a new S4C series as they head to Scotland in their campervan.
In Wil ac Aeron: Taith yr Alban (Wil ac Aeron: The Scotland Trip), which starts on Thursday on S4C, Wil Hendreseifion and Aeron Pughe venture across the border to the huge estates, mountains and remote islands of Scotland to find out more about the local culture.
“A road-trip to Scotland has always been a bit of a dream of mine," said Wil, 38, who farms in Llanwrin, near Machynlleth.
"My dad did the same type of thing with his cousin in a Morris Minor van when he was studying agriculture in Penrith years ago. The idea to do it with Aeron has been in the back of my mind for a while.”
As they get stuck into the daily activities and spend time with local people, the two farmers will get a real taste of Scottish culture.
They’ll also find out what two men trying to make a living in farming in the Machynlleth area have in common with the people of rural Scotland.
