THE results of an international survey inviting students to rate their university experience has been welcomed by the University of Wales Trinity Saint David.

UWTSD was ranked first out of the 46 institutions globally who took part in the 2015 Autumn Wave of the International Student Barometer and Student Barometer in five categories, including for student satisfaction with the teaching ability of lecturers and supervisors, and for personal tutors.

The expertise of lecturers, learning support, student services, careers and employability services were also each rated very highly by students at UWTSD.

In addition, the university also saw improvements across each of the categories, including an increase of 5.3 per cent in the percentage of students who would recommend the university to other students.
