Madam,

It was a pleasure to observe (as I am not a member of) the Dwyfor/Meirionydd IDD Panel at Plas Tan y Bwlch last week. Natural Resources Wales staff admirably faced incisive questioning and open criticism, as well as praise, from local landowners and their representatives.

As with the previous meeting, the Gwynedd Council officer member of the panel failed to attend. I also hasten to add that no-one from Gwynedd able to address issues of highways water drainage attended the drop-in session at Porthmadog in June.

Perhaps the R J Jones who wrote about me the other week could ponder on how it is possible to resolve and avoid issues unless they’re confronted, preferably through face-to-face discussions.
