How are we in Ceredigion going to provide care for everybody? At present too many are struggling because politicians throughout Britain have neglected the needs of so many.

If/when Abermad Residential and Nursing Care Home closes, Ceredigion councillors must reconsider and open the doors to Bodlondeb, which is still empty since its doors closed two years ago. Over 6,000 objected to the closure of its 50 bedrooms.

I have been informed that if Abermad closes there will be 27 fewer rooms, including residents who have nursing care in Ceredigion.

Why did you recommend to close Bodlendeb? At present families, and some living without families, are at breaking point, with the present situation, care within your own home is not the way forward for all.

Brexit has sidelined public services, and both Conservative and Labour governments have neglected social services for too many years.

How much longer must so many depend on charity because the public sector is in crisis?
