A FASHION and fizz night on the Llyn Peninsula has raised £1,500 for good causes.

Elen Pughe from Edern with the assistance of a group of her friends organised a ‘Fashion & Fizz’ night with clothes from Lan Lofft of Machynlleth and Lampeter at the Woodland Hall, Hotel in Edern.

A profit of about £1,500 was made and will be presented between four local groups and charities at a later date.

The groups that will benefit from the hard work are Ysgol Edern school, Edern Play School, Edern Playground and the Porthdinllaen Young Farmers Club.

Elen Pughe said: “I would like to thank everybody who assisted in any way to make the evening a great success, all the girls who helped in getting everything into place the weeks before, Nerys and Nick and everybody at the Woodlands, the nine girls who volunteered to model the clothes and Angharad Williams and everybody concerned with Lan Lofft.”
