New members are needed to join a forum that will advise on public access across Ceredigion.

The Ceredigion Local Access Forum (LAF) has reached the end of its latest three-year term and arrangements are being made to appoint new members for 2022-2025.

The LAF is responsible for advising the council, Natural Resources Wales and other bodies countryside access, including public rights of way and the right of access to open country and registered common land. The access forum will work around an annual work programme and four full forum meeting are usually held in a year, in addition to extra sub-committees.

Anyone interested in becoming part of the forum can apply to be considered for membership until 4 January 2022.

More information on the Local Access Forum can be found on Ceredigion County Council’s website.
