THERE is still time for Cambrian News readers to apply for an entry discount to the 2018 Welsh Wild West sportive at AberCycleFest.

Taking place on Sunday, 27 May, as part of the week-long festival of cycling, the Wild West ride gives local cyclists and visitors the chance to experience Ceredigion’s best road cycling terrain, in a fun and friendly atmosphere.

AberCycleFest is now in its ninth year, and continues to go from strength to strength.

The sportive event is non-competitive and entrants will have a choice of four distances to suit their personal target and fitness level.

Starting with the Corrach (Dwarf) at 28 miles; the Diafol (Devil) at 44 miles; the Mynach (Monk) at 62 miles; and finally the Cawr (Giant) at 106 miles, the Welsh Wild West covers areas of outstanding beauty.

The start and finish is at Aberystwyth Bandstand where a hot meal and goody bag awaits each finisher and all marshals. Each rider will receive a medal and T-shirt as a memento.

There is a Cambrian News end-of-April promotional discount of 20 per cent off all Welsh Wild West rides for 2018, available from Tuesday, 24 April, to Monday, 30 April.

Use the code CAMBRIAN20 here to claim your discount.
